Audible Creates Outlet for Audiobooks from Independent Publishers

Audible has teamed up with the Center for Independent Publishing to launch “AUDIBLE IndieFirst, which is designed to generate audiobooks from independent publishers. Audible will publish the digital audiobook one month prior to the print release — for availability on Audible.com and iTunes, of course. The first title to get the audiobook IndieFirst treatment is Demons in the Spring, by Joe Meno, to be narrated by Victor Bevine. The press release on the new announcement is here.
